We create the Hare Sound Editor using the install4J multi-platform installer builder.

The HARE audio editor downloaded from this link runs as a stand alone application (also called the ACORNS Sound Editor). It also runs from within the primary ACORNS application. This means that if you use the ACORNS application for creating indigenous lessons, you don't need to download the HARE audio editor separately, that is unless you want to also run it stand-alone. The icon for the HARE audio editor ithin an ACORNS install is a picture of of an audio speaker; if installed from this page, the icon is a picture of a hare.

This application is now also available for download in Windows Store and in Apple Store. In the Windows Store, search for Holistic Audio Recorder and Editor. You can also find it by searching for Hare. In the Apple Store, simply search for Hare
Hare has features where in addition to editing and creating audio files, you can annotate these files with text.To learn how to this, please refer to: Annotating Audio with Text
